From the arrival of the ferry in Portoferraio follow the following directions: Tutte le direzioni - Porto Azzurro/Capoliveri - Capoliveri - Morcone - Residence Villa Morcone.

HOW TO GET TO ELBA

Car ferries to Portoferraio leave Piombino almost hourly during the summer season. Other ferries depart to Rio Marina and Cavo. The main ferry-boat companies are Toremar, Mobylines and Blu Navy. The Piombino-Portoferraio ferry ride takes approximately one hour while a hydrofoil service (no cars) takes 30 minutes :

By car:
From Milan and the North of Italy: from Milano take the A1 motorway, change to the A15 at Parma Ovest to join the A12 Genova-Livorno, exit later at Rosignano. Continue on dual-carriageway to Venturina/Isola d'Elba sign. Continue on the main road until you reach Piombino Marittima/Portoferraio.

From Florence and the East : Take the A1 motorway Bologna-Firenze-Pisa-Livorno, exit later at Rosignano and continue as above.
Alternatively: take the Firenze-Pisa-Livorno (FI-PI-LI) highway from the Firenze Signa exit on the Florence ring road, until you reach Collesalvetti. At Collesalvetti re-join the A1 motorway and exit at Rosignano, then continue to Piombino Porto.

From Rome and the South: Take the A12 Roma-Grosseto motorway, continue going North on the main road "Aurelia": exit at Venturina-Isola d'Elba then follow as above to Piombino Porto.

By plane::
During the summer time Elba island is connected with some of the most important national and international airports: Milano, Zürich, Bern, Alterhein, Berlin, München. The airport is situated in Loc. La Pila (Marina di Campo).

By train:
The railway station to take the ferries is Piombino Marittima.
